To get registered for Part P Scheme you need a good knowledge of house wiring and electrical installation as you need to get approval from an approved governing body. Before approval they will evaluate your knowledge and the experience on the subject. Once you are approved, you become eligible to overlook the approval of the local body for your electrical installations. To prepare you for this, there are part p courses. These are similar to 2391 city and guilds courses as 2391 course too is targeted at for people who are experienced in the field of house wiring and domestic installations.
